A man has claimed he came back from the dead after passing away, but squashed rumours of seeing a great white light on the other end.
Kevin Hill revealed that he stood beside his own body in what he calls the “peaceful spirit realm”.
The 55-year-old suffers from a condition called Calciphylaxis – which is a serious, uncommon disease in which calcium accumulates in small blood vessels of the fat and skin tissues, the Daily Star reports.

As a result of the condition, his dead, blistered skin ate his live skin, causing him to bleed out and lose a staggering five pints of blood.
The Derby-native endured a terrifying ordeal when his heart stopped – and he had to be resuscitated by medics.
Back in 2021, Kevin's legs had started to swell up because they were retaining excess fluid.
He said he went to the doctors multiple times but his pleas were dismissed.
Kevin got an appointment at the coronary care unit in Derby and he was referred on to Derby Royal Hospital.
He said: “I wasn't looking down at my body, but I was separate from my body.
“It was like I was in the spirit realm – I was conscious of what was going on but I had so much peace.
“I knew I was bleeding, I knew it was serious, but the staff kept coming in and out to stop the bleeding.”
“I knew I had died and that I was separate from my body.”
He remembers the doctors trying to save his life.
He explained: “I am in the final stages of recovery.
“In my right leg, I still have some pain but it is not near the level it used to be – I would cry for hours.
"My pain level used to be 100 out of 10 and now it had dropped to four.
"Everyone said I should be dead."
