Northern Ireland Secretary Sir Chris Bryant has insisted that he did not “succumb to violence” when he banned the Drumcree parade.
With controversy continuing among unionist politicians over the minister’s decision around the Orange Order parade in Portadown, Sir Chris said he thought it would be better if “more people in Northern Ireland can moderate their language”.
