'I deleted Instagram and I've never felt better, the brain fog has lifted'

A mum says deleting Instagram from her phone has been "life-changing" - and has made her a better role model for her daughter. Jess Kirby, 38, removed the app after becoming fed up of constantly scrolling.

She says she needed to "detox" - and now feels better than ever. Jess, a lifestyle blogger, initially took a two-week break. She went back on the app for work but hired someone to manage her account for her.

Jess also no longer posts or names her daughter online and doesn’t use TikTok or Twitter She is now able to distance herself from it, she said. and hopes long-term she won’t have to use Instagram at all for business.
