People meet their partners in a myriad of ways - from at school, to nights out, to dating apps. But it's a rare occasion that you'll meet your significant other when you're responding to a job ad - especially to be someone's children's nanny.
But that's the exact situation Krystle, known as @ krystlekayture on TikTok, found herself in, She has hinted that people shouldn't be so quick to judge because she's been happily married to her husband for years now, even if they did meet in an unorthodox way.
Krystle said that people thought she was 'crazy' for wanting to be with her boss, but she was proving that wasn't the case.
The clip shows them dancing together for five seconds, looking happy together as they enjoy their blended family life. She even has a step-daughter who is just ten years her junior - and she used to be her nanny.
Over the top of the video, it reads: "Everyone thought I was crazy for wanting to date my boss who is 20 years older. Tonight we are celebrating five years married and seven years together with his three adult kids and my 11-year-old."
She's that proud of who she's with, that in her TikTok bio it reads '2 0-year age gap couple' with a white heart emoji.
Some other TikTokers shared their personal stories of age gap relationships, encouraging her to ignore the haters.
One wrote: " Happy Anniversary! You two are sooo cute! My husband is also 20 years older than me. I was 24 and he was 44 when we met. Been together for 13 years! Don't let the haters bring you down!"
Another commented: "Congrats. Epic love story."
Others were more sceptical about their romance, writing: "Get ready for 15 years from now- love, someone who thought the same thing."
Someone else said: "See me when you're 50 and he’s 70. Not so great anymore."
