Beau Webster has revealed the pain and persistence behind a career-best bowling haul that has enhanced his chances of selection in the upcoming Ashes series.

The 31-year-old is in the 15-man squad for the opening Test in Perth but his aim of retaining his No.6 spot in the batting order is dependent on whether selectors persist with allrounder Cameron Green at No.3.
