We've all heard of the health benefits of walking 10,000 steps a day but how many of us have actually put it to the test?
As a New Year's resolution one journalist with RSVP Live decided to give the fitness challenge a try and found it had massive health benefits in just five weeks.
Sarah Magliocco made a goal of reaching the daily step count after realising that her life had become more sedentary over the winter months.

To reach 10,000 steps a day, she had to walk for about 1 hour and 45 mins to two hours every day.
While it took a lot of commitment to fit it in her busy schedule, Sarah stuck with it and found she was easily able to smash her 10,000 steps target on her days off - and even double it.
She wrote: "My main issue was finding the time in my day for all of these walks, but as I work from home, I was able to fit them in on my breaks from work, and either before or after work depending on what shift I had that day.
"The lack of consistency was the most difficult thing to contend with, and on days that I was working, I only failed to reach 10,000 one day out of them all, when I ran out of time and only hit 9600 for the day.
"Meanwhile on my days off, I would clock up 20-21,000 steps, walking to get my errands done and meet up with friends."
The consistency paid off and while weight loss wasn't her aim, Sarah revealed she lost one stone in five weeks.
She wrote: "I lost about a stone in weight, though that wasn't a goal, and increased my water intake drastically, drinking at least one litre on each long walk - a major benefit to someone who drinks so much coffee."
As well as the physical health benefits, Sarah found the extra solitary time had some other surprising benefits including being out in nature, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
Sarah wrote: "I started to enjoy my walks as a time to peace and solitude, choosing podcasts that were an hour or an hour and a half long that I had been dying to listen to, turning them on and staying walking until the podcast ended.
"I have also 'read' so many more books now via audiobooks which I never would have had the time to sit down and read.
"The amount of stunning sunrises and sunsets I managed to capture made it entirely worth it - I am the bane of my family group chat, always sending in pretty pictures of skies and seas."
