Karanvir Bohra is passionate about his craft and works towards honing his skills. After wandering away from the fiction genre for a while, the actor, who was last seen in Naagin 2 (2016) plans to return to daily soaps. He says, “It has been a while since I did a fiction show. I was looking at getting back to fiction before I took up the reality show. However, it had to be postponed. I am hoping to return to daily soaps this year. I like the fact that many fiction shows don’t run indefinitely and wrap up in six months. It suits me because being a father of three, I have to spend some time at home, too. But I also need to do a lot of work for my kids’ future.”
His ability to sink his teeth into a character has made him a household name. However, he hasn’t been able to recreate the magic on reality shows. He has participated in seven reality shows so far, but has won none. Does the tag of losing every reality show he has been a part of haunt him? He replies, “Not at all. Everything about reality shows isn’t just limited to winning them. It’s great if you win. But most importantly, it’s your personality that people like and resonate with. Life isn’t a destination, but a journey and winning is just a byproduct. It’s the journey I enjoy and in the process, I am happy that I have won a lot of hearts. People have appreciated my conduct and how I deal with my co-contestants on reality shows. It’s sad if some people think that you are a loser if you don’t win. I don’t subscribe to that thought. The person who gives up and stops trying is the one who loses eventually. I have never given up in life. Every time I have taken a fall, I stood up and walked again.”
