'I almost fell for a cunning scam after trying to sell golf clubs on DoneDeal'

I was almost the victim of a debit card scam while trying to sell a set of golf clubs on DoneDeal.

The golf clubs had been hanging around my mam's house for a few years and she wanted rid of them so I offered to sell them on DoneDeal.

After a quick clean, I put snaps of the golf clubs and the bag on a DoneDeal ad. Within 24 hours, I had a WhatsApp message from an Irish enquiring about the golf clubs.
