Between Oct. 24 and 31, HYBE will turn movie theaters into concert halls, screening two live BTS shows from South America next to concert films by SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and ENHYPEN. According to Korean outlet Sports Kyunghyang, more than 1,100 theaters in over 50 countries are taking part.
Two BTS Broadcasts Anchor the Festival
The Buenos Aires broadcast is billed by Billboard as the group's first show in Argentina. It airs Oct. 24 in the Americas and a day later everywhere else. Forbes says the feed captures the last of three nights at Estadio Único de La Plata, with earlier dates on Oct. 21 and 23.
São Paulo arrives on Oct. 30, or Oct. 31 outside the Americas. That broadcast shows the second of three nights at Estádio do Morumbi, scheduled for Oct. 28, 30 and 31, according to Forbes. Promoters describe it as the finale of the tour's Latin American leg, though the stadium run itself ends one day later.
What Earlier Cinema Releases Earned
Past ARIRANG screenings give HYBE a commercial case. Forbes, drawing on Box Office Mojo data, reports about $6.94 million worldwide for the Goyang release, $4.48 million for Japan and $8.98 million for Busan. Together that comes to roughly $20.4 million. The two South American broadcasts will be the tour's fourth and fifth live viewings.
The festival brand also has an audience track record. Sports Kyunghyang says the 2024 Latin American edition drew about 260,000 people and last year's Asian edition around 320,000.
Tickets: Sept. 30, With a Caveat
Billboard reports that sales open worldwide on Sept. 30 at 6 a.m. Pacific, 9 a.m. Eastern and 2 p.m. British time, which works out to 10 a.m. in São Paulo. Sports Kyunghyang places the global start at 10 p.m. in Korea, with domestic sales beginning Oct. 15 at 10 a.m.
One report does not fit that picture. Forbes described BTS tickets as already on sale when it published on Sept. 17, yet the organizers' announcement this week points to Sept. 30 for the whole festival. Until the promoters clarify, treat Sept. 30 as the date and confirm with your local cinema.
Beyond BTS: Three Concert Films and a Singalong
Sports Kyunghyang says all three concert films are getting their first theatrical release. They are SEVENTEEN's "NEW_" show in Incheon, TOMORROW X TOGETHER's "ACT : TOMORROW" in Seoul and ENHYPEN's "BLOOD SAGA" in Seoul.
The sixth program, HYBE CHEERING PARTY (in 3D), is built for audience participation. It strings together music videos and stage footage from 13 HYBE acts, among them LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT and KATSEYE. English romanization appears beneath Korean lyrics, and fanchant guides unfold in 3D on screen. Fans are invited to bring official light sticks.
Lobby Extras at Select Theaters
More than 10 "Special Location" theaters will add photo zones, Photoism booths, a wall of artist messages and a light-stick customizing corner, depending on the venue. At least five of them, including Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul, will upgrade to "Special Location Plus," with merchandise and capsule-toy zones. Pop-up stores are planned for Los Angeles and Paris.
Two markets run on their own terms: Lotte Cinema is the exclusive screening partner in Korea, and Japan's rollout follows a separate schedule through avex pictures.

- If you want the lobby experience, confirm which theaters are Special Locations before sales begin on Sept. 30.
After debuting in Latin America and expanding to Asia, the festival now goes worldwide for the first time. With BTS's South American shows at the center, it is HYBE's boldest push yet to make the movie theater a shared concert venue.
