Hurry! Nintendo Switch N64 controller is back in stock and is selling out fast

If you're a fan of the classic N64 controller then you'll be glad to know it's currently in stock again, for the first time in years.

For Nintendo Switch owners who are fed up with using joycons and don't find the same satisfaction in using a pro controller, fear not, as the Nintendo 64 controller is finally back in stock. This controller, designed specifically for the Nintendo Switch, launched back in October 2021 and has rarely been seen in stock since, with products being snatched off of the digital shelves like hotcakes.

This controller is identical to the age-old Nintendo 64 controller that we all know and love, but is wireless, which is a nice modern-day convenience. It can be used with Nintendo 64 titles and as a Nintendo Switch pro controller in some other compatible software titles.

In order to get your hands on the controller, you need to be a paying Nintendo Switch Online member, and even then you're limited to a lifetime purchase of four in order to prevent stock from flying away as quickly as it landed. Nintendo Switch Online membership can be purchased on your console.

If you're a big fan of classic consoles or a collector of gaming memorabilia then you'll be glad to know that some other iconic remastered controllers have also hit the market. As with the N64 controller, you need a Nintendo Switch Online membership in order to pick these up too.

For those who might be wondering the point of getting a classic controller for a much newer console, it allows you to playthrough older titles on the Nintendo Switch thanks to the Expansion Pack. Your standard Nintendo Switch Online membership will give you access to selected NES, Super NES, Gameboy, N64 and GBA titles.

If you opt for the Expansion Pack you gain access to even more N64 and GBA titles as well as Sega Mega Drive games too. These controllers are all compatible with their respective titles which makes playing these games really transport you back in time.
