Tragically, even a K-9 officer named “Scotty” from Erwin, Tennessee, fell victim to the flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. The Erwin Police Department shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, urging the community to keep Scotty in their thoughts and prayers.
