Arc System Works America announced that it has partnered with Bushiroad Games to release Hunter×Hunter Nen×Impact outside of Japan. The game is expected to launch sometime this year and is going to be available for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and the PC through Steam.
The game had a successful demo during the EVO Japan from April 26 to April 28. At that time, fans got the chance to test our Gon and his hunter friends.
A Hit Story & Show
The is based on the hit anime and manga Hunter×Hunter by author Yoshihiro Togashi. The story focuses on a young boy named Gon Freecss whose father left him at a young age. However, he learns that his father is a famous Hunter. Hunters are licensed professionals specializing in various fantastical pursuits like locating rare or unidentified animal species, surveying unexplored enclaves, hunting for treasure, or going after lawless individuals.
As he goes on a journey to look for his father, Gon meets other hunters and even encounters the paranormal.
Available Characters
In addition to Gon, other chracters have been revealed. These include the likes of Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, Hisoka, Netero, and Biscuit.
The iconic Treasure Hunter Biscuit Krueger, or Bisky, was actually only recently announced. It was during the IGN Live fan through a new trailer released. With it, fans were able to get a peek into the resourceful combat skills of this swift fighter. Players can leverage her Aura Arts as a way to increase both offensive and defensive abilities. They can also develop a fighting style as a way to offset counter attacks of the opponents.
Upcoming Demo
Fans can look forward to learning more about the other characters and even gameplay elements at a later date. In fact, a new character promotional video is scheduled to debut during the "ARC Live ft. Bushiroad" panel during this year's Anime Expo which is on July 6.
This Anime Expo is happening at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 4 to July 7. For fans who can attend, we suggest that they try to check out the event. That's because the game is set to have its first ever playable demo in the US. Just head on over at the Arc System Works booth. There's also Photo Opportunity offered at the booth of Bushiroad Games.
