During the trip, Hunter Biden attended events with powerful CCP leaders, including a lunch where he mentioned being asked by the former Governor of Hong Kong, C.H. Tung, to visit Hong Kong for business discussions. Tung, a former governor and billionaire, was associated with the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), a key mechanism under the CCP's leadership.
