Police are hunting for a masked gunman after a grandad was executed in what is believed to have been a case of mistaken identity.
James Stanton was murdered in 2006 and his death sent shockwaves through Merseyside due to the brutality of the murder - yet nearly 17-years on his killers have never been caught.
Mr Stanton was shot in the back of the head as he sat in his office at Aintree Commercial Vehicles on Ormskirk Road.
