Detectives in Renfrewshire are appealing for information and witnesses following the serious assault of two men in Johnstone.
The incident happened around 5pm on Monday (January 31), in the Church Street area when two men, aged 29 and 39, were assaulted by another man.
Both men were treated for their injuries by paramedics at the scene.
The suspect is described as white, Scottish, in his 40s, approx. 6ft 2in tall, of stocky build with a beard. He is described as wearing wearing a blue jacket, khaki trousers and a flat cap with a tartan pattern on the top.

Detective Constable James Campbell, of Paisley CID, said: “Two men sustained injuries as a result of this incident.
“We are asking for anyone with information or anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident, including those with potential dashcam footage, to please come forward.
