A flock of sheep has been seen marching in a circle for ten days in a 'sign of the apocalypse'.
This is not the premise of a horror movie but the daily life of a farmer in Inner Mongolia for the last week and a half. The flock has allegedly been walking in a clockwise direction without guidance, creating a circle inside which not a single sheep has stepped.
The owner of the flock had no idea what exactly was happening, but she shared CCTV footage of the bizarre occurrence, perhaps to hear people’s theories. Twitter user Billy later shared the video on Twitter and it went viral, attracting thousands of comments and more than 160,000 likes.

No one knows how the occult-like circle could be explained logically but numerous theories were shared in the comment section. Some are saying the unusual event could be of an occult origin – or maybe even "sign of the apocalypse", as Billy later speculated.
The owner claimed the spectacle began with a few sheep before the whole flock joined in, Metro reported. They’ve been on the move since 4 November. It’s unclear whether they stop to eat or drink.
Video of the strange scene was originally tweeted this Wednesday by Chinese state-run outlet People’s Daily, which reported the sheep are perfectly healthy and the cause of the behaviour remains a mystery. But even the New York Post joined the speculation, saying the behaviour could be caused by a bacterial disease called Listeriosis — also known as “circling disease.”
They cited a veterinary manual description of the possible diagnosis of the sheep which stated that “initially, affected animals are anorectic, depressed, and disoriented. They may propel themselves into corners, lean against stationary objects, or circle toward the affected side.”
However if that was the case, the sheep should have died within 24 to 48 hours after symptoms first started, according to the manual.
