Hundreds of railway ticket offices face closure under new plans

Plans to close almost every railway station ticket office in England are expected to be revealed on Wednesday - sparking concerns that rail tavel will become less accessible.

Industry body the Rail Delivery Group (RDG) is expected to unveil proposals to shut offices at hundreds of stations, according to the PA news agency.
