Hundreds of LGBTQ+ couples in Thailand have been tying the knot after the country became the first in Southeast Asia to legalise same-sex marriage.

A mass LGBTQ wedding at a shopping mall in Bangkok saw hundreds of marriage registrations as the new law came into effect on Thursday.
