Humza Yousaf says he is not worried about SNP rebels

Humza Yousaf has said he is not concerned about dissent within the SNP following reports of backbench rebels that a group of backbench MSPs are looking to develop their own policy positions.

The First Minister also indicated the legal advice around Section 35 would not be published. A Section 35 order was used by the UK Government to block the Scottish Parliament’s gender recognition law.

Yousaf saw children taking part in sports at Ayr Academy in his first official visit as First Minister on Monday.
