Hulu has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming limited series 'Under the Bridge,' featuring Riley Keough and Lily Gladstone in lead roles. The series is scheduled to debut with two episodes on April 17, followed by weekly releases. 'Under the Bridge' is a dramatization based on Rebecca Godfrey's book, recounting the tragic true story of fourteen-year-old Reena Virk, who vanished after attending a party in 1997. The narrative, portrayed through the perspectives of Godfrey (played by Keough) and a local police officer (portrayed by Gladstone), delves into the hidden world of the young girls implicated in the case. The ensemble cast also includes Vritika Gupta, Chloe Guidry, Javon Walton, Izzy G., Aiyana Goodfellow, Ezra Faroque Khan, and Archie Panjabi. The adaptation was crafted by Quinn Shephard, with a team of executive producers including Shephard, Samir Mehta, Liz Tigelaar, Stacey Silverman, Geeta Patel, and Tara Duncan. Godfrey served as an executive producer, while Keough and Gina Gammell are also credited as executive producers. Patel took on the directorial duties for the series, produced by ABC Signature.

In other television news, the Library of Congress is set to host a special screening event and panel discussion featuring cast members from the CBS comedy 'Ghosts' on April 9. The event will take place at the Coolidge Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. ET, with free tickets available for reservation. 'Ghosts' follows the comedic exploits of a couple who inherit Woodstone Mansion, only to discover it is inhabited by a diverse group of spirits from various time periods. The show stars Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, and Rebecca Wisocky. The series, currently in its third season with a fourth season renewal, airs on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Submissions are now open for the 2024 ASTRA TV Awards, with a deadline of May 31 for entries. New categories have been introduced this year, including best anime series, best children's or family program, and best voice-over performance. The awards have consolidated limited series and TV movies into a single category, with corresponding acting, writing, and directing categories also merged. The Fine Cut Festival of Films is also accepting submissions for short films until May 31, targeting filmmakers from Southern California film schools. The festival, celebrating its 25th anniversary, welcomes entries in documentary, animation, and narrative genres for a chance to win prizes and be featured in broadcast episodes.
