Cyrus Christie has backed Crystal Palace loanee Malcolm Ebiowei to succeed at Hull this season.
Ebiowei, who turned 19 in September, joined Hull on loan in the January transfer window for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign and has so far made seven appearances for the club.
The young midfielder had only featured three times this season for Palace prior to his move, having joined the Eagles from Derby County last summer.

Ebiowei has played in the Championship before, making 16 appearances for Derby in the division in the 2021-22 season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in 16 matches.
He had a tough start to his spell with Hull though, sustaining a minor injury which delayed his debut for the Tigers until mid-February.
But Christie has said that he knows Ebiowei has what it takes to succeed in the Championship with Hull, having started the last two games for Liam Rosenior's side.
As reported by the Yorkshire Post, Christie said: “I know he [Ebiowei] has got ability. People can’t expect the world from him straight away. He’s been injured. It is tough for young boys to come into a new environment. Hull is a far place (from London).”
Ebiowei will be hoping to get more game time between now and the end of the season, with Hull currently sitting 15th in the Championship with eight games to go. The Tigers will face Rotherham United next weekend after the international break.
