Roy Keane and Manchester United fans had plenty to be optimistic about as they left Old Trafford on Monday night.
The Red Devils produced their best performance in some time to beat their great rivals 2-1 thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.
Liverpool got one back through Mo Salah in the 81st minute, but United held on to pick up all three points as Jurgen Klopp's side remain winless after three Premier League games.

Keane was on punditry duty for Sky Sports for the match and was in great form throughout the evening.
He couldn't resist a laugh by bringing up an old argument between himself and Jurgen Klopp, sending the Liverpool boss into fits of laughter.
The former United captain was embraced by many players past and present as he stood at the side of the Old Trafford pitch in the build-up to kick-off.
Ronaldo blanked Jamie Carragher, but gave Keane a hug ahead of the game, while presenter David Jones also told of an off air embrace between the Cork man and his former teammate Peter Schmeichel - someone Keane hasn't always seen eye to eye with.
New United signing Casemiro was paraded in front of the 75,000 fans in attendance on Monday night after arriving from Real Madrid.
And the Brazilian had a quick word with Keane as he left the pitch ahead of the 8pm kick-off.
But Keane's handshakes and hugs weren't over there as he shook hands with Erik ten Hag after the full-time whistle.
Speaking on United's performance after the game, ten Hag insisted his side still have "a long way to go" despite the win.
He said: “I’m really happy and satisfied. We wanted a different approach and we have got that.
“Brentford was not the way I want to play football. I want to see a team, I want to see players who fight. You have to be brave in and out of possession and I think we have seen that today all over the pitch.
“But we have a long way to go. When you are in a process you have to deal with setbacks but you also have highlights and today was a highlight.”
