Hughes makes F2 step with Van Amersfoort Racing

Hughes Van Amersfoort Racing F2 FIA

Hughes will join the Dutch squad for his first full season in the Formula 1 feeder series after contesting three rounds last year for HWA Racelab, which has since departed the championship and subsequently been replaced by VAR.

The team has been a regular winner in junior single-seaters for several years, prominently running Max Verstappen during his first season of car racing in 2014. It claimed both the German and Italian F4 titles with Oliver Bearman in 2021.
