Hugh Jackman asked if he and Ryan Reynolds could join the cast of Avengers: Doomsday, as he teased their appearance in the upcoming film.
The Australian actor appeared on screen at Disney’s D23 fan event in Los Angeles on Friday (14 August), where an off-screen Reynolds prompted him to ask Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige if they could reprise their roles of Wolverine and Deadpool, respectively.
“Just wondering if you might need some help rounding out the cast? I’d love to join,” he said, adding he might even be able to get Reynolds to join too.
The upcoming film, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is a sequel to 2019's Avengers: Endgame and the 39th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
