Plans for a major regeneration project in York, creating 250,000 sq ft of mixed use city centre space, have been submitted.
Property specialist Helmsley Group has put forward its Coney Street Riverside project to City of York Council, having unveiled it in September.
It features retail, leisure, commercial, residential, student and extensive public realm additions. A key feature from the city-based group will see the introduction of a boutique, independent retail experience. It sits alongside the creation and rejuvenation of the historic lanes and passageways joining Coney Street and the River Ouse together, helping to make the riverfront accessible to all.
