Huge vegan Christmas festival heading to Trafford Park

A huge vegan Christmas festival is heading to Trafford Park next weekend showcasing all the best stuff about the vegan lifestyle during the festive period. More than 80 stalls will be setting up to bring the best food, healthcare, beauty and skin care products to those already vegan or those who might be mulling it.

There will also be a host of ethical clothes stalls, environmental charities and non-profit organisations in attendance. For those hoping to get their hands on some of the best Vegan food in the region, there will be a bunch of names you may know already, and many you may not.

Ethiopian street food heroes House of Habesha will be set up, offering up its superb home-cooked stews and curries from East Africa, while Seitan’s Kebab will be offering up its vegan ‘babs, made with Lebanese flatbreads.

VDogs will be bringing their vegan hotdogs, alongside DevilDog sauces, Asian dishes from Gillie Foods, Manchester vegan chocolate brand Kind Hearted Chocs, and Salford-based Saco Superfoods, which focusses on products from small-scale products from female producers in West Africa.

Cosmetics-wise, itreatskin will be hosting a stall, offering natural skin products for those with skin conditions, as well as Northern Lashes, which provides eco-friendly vegan lashes. As well as foods, clothes and cosmetics, Miracle’s Mission will be among the charities at the festival, which helps sick, injured and disabled animals worldwide.

It all happens on November 20 at Bowlers Exhibition Centre from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Tickets cost £5 on the door or £15 for advance VIP tickets, which come with a goodie bag full of vegan products, samples and discounts.
