Huge queues at Cribbs as Bristol shoppers first in line for new Boots skincare range

Eager shoppers flocked to Boots at the Mall in Cribbs Causeway yesterday to be first in line for No7’s new Future Renew Damage Reversal skincare range. The range, which launched on Wednesday (April 12), is said to contain a world-first super peptide blend proven to reverse the appearance of multiple signs of skin damage.

It is No7’s biggest launch in a generation, building on a long history of scientific innovation for the brand with users reporting reduced fine lines and wrinkles after a few weeks. Claire Slinn, 50 from Bristol was the first customer through the door at Cribbs, bagging herself a goody bag of Future Renew products worth over £100.

The new range comprises four skin products - a day cream, night cream, face serum and eye serum - that No7 says will support replicate the skin’s natural repair process and has been described as a game changer for consumers. Users of the serum said it reduced the appearance of skin lines and wrinkles after four weeks, the brand reports.

The damage reversal SPF40 day cream, night cream and serum cost £34.95 each (with the 50ml serum costing £42.95) and the eye serum is priced at £24.95. Online, you can purchase a bundle of all four products for £85.

Online shoppers were looking to snap up the new No7 range from Boots were placed in a virtual queue after hundreds flocked to the website this morning, Daily Record reports. Hundreds of people have already reviewed the day cream, with several saying their skin was "glowing" after use, although several others said the consistency was too thick for their liking.

It's not the first time the Boots skincare brand has been ahead of the curve for innovative beauty products. In 2007, after No7 Protect & Perfect serum was featured on a BBC Horizon documentary demonstrating it was the only anti-ageing product to deliver scientific efficacy, Boots sold a year’s supply of the product in two weeks.
