A huge power cut in Bolton has left more 2,300 properties without electricity this morning.
According to Electricity North West, 2352 properties in the Horwich area are affected by the outage. Engineers are on their way to the scene.
Power was first reported to be out just before 10am. It is expected to be restored by 1pm, according to the provider's website.

A tweet posted by Electricity North West said: "We are aware of a #powercut in #Bolton (BL6 & BL1) affecting 2352 customers. Our engineer is on their way to investigate.
"To receive updates on this please DM your full address & contact number. If you or anybody in your household require assistance, please call us on 105."
