It is time to get your best lederhosen and bunting out as Oktoberfest is coming to Leeds this week.
Traditionally, Oktoberfest is held annually in the Bavarian city of Munich, Germany, and is a 16-18 day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October. The popular event, celebrated by six million people across the globe every autumn, will be coming to Leeds pubs.
The Headingley Taps and Original Oak, both in Headingley, will be celebrating the renowned German beer festival with a fortnight of fun-themed activities this autumn. On Wednesday, October 5, both pubs will have live music with the Headingley Taps hosting German Oompa band, The Amazing Bavarian Stompers and the Original Oak will be hosting DJ PeteO alongside a Stein-based beer pong game as part of our Freshers event.
