Huge new warehouse venue to launch with World Cup screenings featuring live commentary and 'singing terraces'

A huge new warehouse space is set to open in Manchester, launching with screenings of World Cup matches featuring pies, pints, live commentary and half-time punditry. Called the Love Factory, the new venue is tucked behind the Co-op building and Angel Meadow Park.

It’ll be showing matches from November 21, starting with England’s match against Iran, then followed by the England USA match on November 25 and England vs Wales on November 29. Projecting the matches onto the wall of the cavernous warehouse, they will provide an immersive experience, with beer hall-style bench seating and standing ‘singing terraces’.

On match days, there will be live commentary provided by talkSPORT, as well as live half-time punditry. As well as seating and standing options, there are also ‘hospitality boxes’ that can be hired out too, which come equipped with state-of-the-art flatscreens and sound systems.

The Classic Football Shirts shop will also be set up at the venue, with a collection of classic England and other nation shirts set up in an exhibition display and food-wise, pie-makers Ate Days A Week will be providing the all-important pastry.

Tickets for the Love Factory x Qatar World Cup 2022 events cost£5 for standing, £7 for seating and £10 per person for the upscale Hospitality Seating. Boxes, meanwhile, can be hired for £75 per person.

For that, you get your own private space to watch the match, glasses of champagne on arrival, complimentary food and drinks and access to cocktail bars. For information, you can head to the Love Factory website.
