A city-wide order has been put in place today aiming to stop anti-social cruising in Leeds.
The order states that vehicles will be in breach of the new Public Space Protection Order if "two or more mechanically propelled vehicles collecting on the public highway or a publicly accessible place and those people associated with the collecting vehicles act in an anti-social way." The order has been put in place by West Yorkshire Police in conjunction with Leeds City Council.
Anyone breaching the order could be fined £100, or convicted of a criminal offence with a maximum level three fine.
