A variety of local employers will be present on the day as well as national employers including NHS, East Ayrshire Council, National Autistic Society, HRM Homecare, Constance Care, HC1 and Partners for Inclusion as well as partner organisations including Parker Enterprise and CEIS. The events will promote live job opportunities, all available in local and surrounding areas. Jobs available include homecare support worker, care assistant, senior carer, support worker.
Margarita Morrison, director for Jobcentre Plus in Scotland, said: “We know from speaking with Scottish employers they want great candidates to fill their vacancies.
"For job seekers, the great news is that there are jobs out there. Our Way to Work Job Fairs can short-circuit the recruitment process by bringing jobseekers face to face with employers and help to fill jobs faster.”
Anyone interested in attending should speak to their Jobcentre Work Coach to book a space. Employers interested in attending can find out more information by emailing employerservices.scotland@dwp.gov.uk.
