A huge fire has broken out in a block of flats in West Lothian late on Thursday evening, prompting a huge emergency response and evacuation of the building.
The fire began at approximately 11:20pm yesterday evening (January 27) on Katherine Street in Livingston, and is still ablaze at the time of writing.
Residents in surrounding areas have told Edinburgh Live that roads have been closed and the fire service are working hard to put the fire out.

It is not yet known what caused the fire, but Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment on this matter.
One local resident spoke to Edinburgh Live, saying: "The fire is spreading quickly throughout the flat as far as we can see, it is still pretty much ablaze right now.
"The surrounding roads have been closed, and from what we can see, the flat has been evacuated."
It is not yet known if there has been any injuries, but this is a breaking news incident, and more information will be added to this story as it becomes available.
West Lothian Police have posted a tweet regarding this incident, stating: "Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are currently dealing with fire in Katherine Street, Livingston.
"All residents have been evacuated safety.
"There are currently road closures in place whilst we deal with this incident. We thank you for your patience."

The Tower Bar in Craigshill have put out a message to those affected by the fire, that they can seek refuge inside their establishment, in a post on Facebook.
The post reads: "If any of the residents of Katherine Street affected by the fire want to come down to the Tower Bar, we'll get you in for some warmth."
