Huge fire breaks out at NFL side Denver Broncos' stadium as dark clouds fill the air

There were very alarming scenes on Thursday as a huge fire broke out at the home of NFL side Denver Broncos.

Black smoke could be seen from miles away as the fire continued to spread at the Empower Field at Mile High. Images emerged on Thursday showing rows of the seating area in a blaze of fire but the Denver Fire Department have since confirmed that it us 'under control'.

It has yet been revealed what caused it and no injuries have been reported. After releasing images of the fire, the DFD tweeted: "#DenverFireDepartment crews are extinguishing a fire at Mile high stadium, 1701 Bryant. Unknown cause at this time, but fire affected has affected the suite area and the third level seating area.
