A huge fire and police presence closed a number of roads as a blaze ripped through an industrial building.
Fire crews rushed to an industrial building on St John's Road in Bootle at around 9.10pm on Friday, February 25 following reports of a fire.
Once five fire engines arrived at the scene just minutes later, they found a builders yard well alight.

Merseyside Police were also in attendance as a section of St John's Road and Syren Street were cordoned off.
Crews worked within the cordon and used an aerial appliance, two ground monitors and one high pressure hose reel.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service confirmed in a statement that "All persons have been accounted for".
They said: "Crews were alerted just after 9.10pm and were on scene shortly before 9.15pm on Friday 25 th February.
"Five fire engines and one aerial appliance are at scene. This is a builders yard approximately 20 x 40 metres well alight.
"This is an ongoing incident, please avoid the area."
An eyewitness at the scene said fire crews had to use the nearby Leeds-Liverpool canal as a water source to fight the fire.
