Huge fine after elderly woman injured in chair fault

A regional public hospital has been slapped with a six-figure fine after an aged care resident fell from a chair and suffered rib and spine fractures.

Lorna Exton, 93, was injured in an October 2021 fall at Benalla's Morrie Evans nursing home in Victoria's northeast.
