UK visas: Huge drop in workers coming to Britain from abroad as illegal immigration rises

There was a significant drop in the number of migrants coming to Britain on health and other work-related visas last year, new Home Office figures have revealed.

A total of 13,177 health and care visas were granted in the year up to December 2025, the data shows.
