Several huge dinosaur figures can now be seen in Basford ahead of a new themed golf course opening there this summer. The Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf is based on Stockhill Lane and dinosaurs were seen arriving at the site in March.
Most of the statues have now been unwrapped and can be seen from the roadside. All the figures took six weeks to build in Asia, with their journey to Nottingham taking another eight weeks by ship.

The biggest statue that can now be seen is a huge T-rex, with six dinosaurs eventually expected to fill the finished course. The site's opening is due to create three full-time jobs, with part-time vacancies then available in the summer.
Other features of the site will include an onsite café and dedicated car park. The venue is expected to open to the public in July.
