Two huge crossbows and multiple knives were found by cops after cops were called to a 'public order incident' on an estate in Trafford.
Officers were called to the Sale West estate last night (Friday) after 'concerned members of the public' raised the alarm. A man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence on Hurst Avenue.
Police searched a home and uncovered the weapons. The man was then further arrested on suspicion of possession of offensive weapons; and possession of a class B substance.

GMP posted pictures of the crossbows and three large knives on the GMP Trafford South Facebook page.
Alongside the photos, an officer wrote: "Good evening. Tonight, officers have attended Hurst Avenue on the Sale West Estate in relation to a public order incident reported by concerned members of the community.
"The male involved has been arrested for a public order related offence. A house search then commenced, and the following items pictured below were seized by officers.
"The male was further arrested for possession of offensive weapons as well as possession of a class B substance. The cross bows for the time being have been confiscated. The male has been escorted to custody and will be interviewed."
