A man has been arrested after cops swarmed a Scots house as they executed a drugs search warrant.
Officers descended on a property in Church Street, Larkhall, around 6.20pm on Tuesday and currently remain on the scene.
It is understood officers wearing white forensic suits were at the house as a heavy police presence remained on the street overnight with six vehicles in attendance.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested and is due to appear in court.
Enquiries are ongoing following an extensive search at the property and the back garden.
Locals in the area say a small digger has since been brought to the house by cops.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.20pm on Tuesday, 1 February, officers executed a drugs search warrant at an address in Church Street, Larkhall.
"A 20-year-old man has been arrested and is due to appear in court.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
