Huddersfield fans have given an angry reaction to comments from Steve Cook at Nottingham Forest’s promotion celebrations on Monday.
The Reds sealed a return to the Premier League after a 23-year hiatus with a play-off final victory over the Terriers on Sunday afternoon. Levi Colwill’s own goal was the decisive moment in the game as Forest came out as 1-0 winners. There was however two other moments that the game hinged on, with referee Jon Moss turning down two Huddersfield penalty shouts in the second half. After VAR reviews, the decision was taken not to overturn the on-field decisions.
As part of the celebrations, Forest players and fans joined together in an event at Old Market Square on Monday. It was during that that defender Cook thanked Jon Moss for the decisions, much to the delight of the crowd in attendance.
