HSNCB seizes 561 kg poppy husk worth Rs 3 crore in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) has seized 561 kg 750 gram of ganja patti worth Rs 3 crore from a truck in Palwal district.

The driver of the vehicle fled the spot.

The Haryana Police spokesperson said on Wednesday that the contraband was being transported in a truck hidden between the bags of cottonseed.

Police have registered a case under NDPS Act against some unknown accused at Hodal police station.

A search operation to nab the accused has been started.
