FAQs
Does HP offer free shipping?
Yes, HP offers free standard shipping on most products, which should arrive in 5 - 7 business days. If you want to receive your items sooner, you can also opt for express options at the checkout. All orders include tracking details (sent out to you once your items have been dispatched). If your order is not eligible for free shipping, costs will be calculated on a per order basis at the checkout, with prices determined by the items you're ordering, where you're shipping to, and total order weight.
Can I get an HP student discount?
If you're studying, you can get up to 40% off across HP's range through the brand's education store. Just sign in with a valid '.edu. email address to verify your status and you'll gain access to the portal, where you'll see all currently available deals. Parents and teachers can also verify to receive discounts, with dedicated ranges for both groups featured in the education store.
How does HP Rewards work?
HP Rewards is the computing brand's free loyalty program, which lets customers earn points on their orders, which can then be redeemed at the checkout for discounts on tech. You'll earn 100 points when you first join, then 1 point for every $1 you spend. Collected points can be redeemed on selected items in exchange for a discount, letting you save on repeat purchases once you've joined.
Does HP offer warranties on orders?
Yes, the majority of HP's range is covered by its Limited Warranty, which protects covered products from manufacturer faults and defects for between 1 - 3 years from the date of purchase. Extended warranties are also available to purchase through HP Care. To see more details about the warranty of specific products, head to the brand's dedicated warranty checker page and provide your serial number(s) in the form.
What is HP's returns policy?
Most physical HP products can be returned to the brand within 30 days of the date of your purchase should you change your mind. Fill out the dedicated returns form on the brand's site to be provided a prepaid shipping label, then affix it to the original packaging and send your item back to HP. Your refund will be processed within 10 days of your item arriving with their team. Note that opened software, downloads and large format printers are not eligible for returns.
HP Saving tips
Shop during the holidays
HP runs a number of sales throughout the year, but we tend to see the biggest and best around the holidays such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Labor Day, President's Day and Christmas. These sales can knock as much as 70% off selected items, so keep an eye out around key periods for the best chances to save. We update this page regularly to include any helpful info we can, so check in before you head to the checkout to guarantee the best discounts around.
Get a military or professional discount
The HP Frontline Heroes Store offers up to 40% off for Healthcare, Military, and First Responders when they verify their status by signing in with a valid ID.me account. Just sign in to your account before heading to the checkout to see the latest deals across tech and services, with free shipping and returns available on all orders placed through this portal.
Trade in old tech
If you've got old HP laptops or PCs lying around you no longer use, you can trade them in to the brand for up to $400 back in rewards, letting you save on your next purchase. Items need to be worth at least $99 to qualify for trade-in, and although HP will accept devices from any manufacturer, they'll need to be factory reset, no older than 6 years old, and in full working order (minor cosmetic damage is acceptable) with all accessories included to qualify for payment. Head to the HP website and provide some details of your device to get started and be sent a prepaid shipping label.
Get a price match
Another wise move before you head to the checkout is to check the HP price match program. The brand offers to match the price of HP models and "comparable PCs" sold by selected competitors, so if you see the likes of Dell, Lenovo, Amazon or Best Buy selling laptops for a lower price than the one on the HP website, get in touch with the team to see if they'll match it.
Models need to either be an identical match (for HP) models or comparable in terms of key specs (non-HP models from Samsung, Lenovo, Dell and Toshiba), currently in-stock with the competing retailer, and not subject to any promotions or discounts (including trade-in offers or members-only discounts). To find more details on the program, head to the dedicated page on the brand's site.
Buy certified refurbished for business
If you're shopping for your business and don't need completely brand new devices, you can browse HP's Certified Refurbished range to see a selection of second-hand or returned devices that have been rigorously inspected, repaired and repackaged to be like-new. Items are sold through the Business Outlet at up to 70% off versus the usual prices depending on the item and its condition, so get in touch with the team to find out what's currently available for your business.
Join the newsletter
Want to keep up with all the latest HP has to offer? Join the brand's newsletter for free through the form on its site and you'll receive regular communications with details on the latest products and promotions, meaning you never miss a chance to save again. New sign-ups will also be sent a one-off code for $20 off their first order.

How we source coupon codes
All the codes you see on PC Gamer have been sourced by our dedicated coupons team. Using our affiliate networks, partnerships with brands, and the world wide web, we track down the latest and best coupon codes and ways to save on your online orders. Our pages are updated multiple times a week, and our commercial team also uses their connections to negotiate exclusive codes with big name brands, so you can find all the best available codes and promotions listed in one place.
How we test coupon codes
To ensure that every code you see is ready to use, our team tests each one before uploading it to a page. Whether it's for free shipping, a multibuy offer, a student discount, or savings in the sales, we check that the code can be applied at the checkout and works as described. We don’t include any one-time or user-specific codes, so you haven’t got to worry about anyone else beating you to the punch, and you’ll find codes for products across all kinds of categories.
We also include all the information about a coupon, such as terms and conditions and the expiry date, on the page below the offer description. Simply click ‘Terms & Conditions’ and you’ll expand the code box, where you’ll be able to read any specific instructions or requirements associated with your chosen coupon. We do our best to update this information whenever any changes are made, with each page checked at least twice a week.
What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
Despite our best efforts, sometimes coupons won’t work as expected. Expiry dates and terms and conditions can be changed by the retailer, or the code may simply no longer be accepted. Should you run into any issues, don’t worry - our customer service team is available to offer support.
The first port of call should always be to check the coupon’s terms and conditions to make sure you meet all requirements. Codes may be product-specific (i.e. 5% off gaming laptops), require a minimum order value (i.e. when you spend $50 or more), or need you to verify your status (i.e. verify with a valid military email address). Click the ‘terms & conditions’ text below the ‘Get Code’ button to view all available information.
If you’re still having issues once you’ve confirmed that you meet the necessary requirements, you can get in touch with our team by sending an email to coupons.pcgamer@futurenet.com. Include a summary of which code you tried to use, where you found it, and what went wrong, and we’ll reply as soon as we can to help out.
How we make money
PC Gamer earns money from its coupon pages through a commission model. We have deals in place with every retailer that has a corresponding coupon page on our site. When you shop with one of these retailers and use one of our codes to get a discount, the brand will pay us a percentage of the final order total in commission.
Using this model means that redeeming a discount through PC Gamer never costs you a thing. We don’t charge any fees to apply a code, and all our money is made directly from retailers, not our audience. You’ll only ever pay for the products or services you buy, with lower prices just as they’re described on the page.
