This has been a year of climate catastrophes from floods in Pakistan and Nigeria to the worst droughts on record across the Horn of Africa. Among the least insulated and most disproportionately affected are women and girls.
As Cop27 reaches it final day, it is vital that these women are central to the climate conversation - yet their stories are all too often just a footnote.
