On paper it looks like stages 10, 11 and 12 could well shake up the race for the Maillot Jaune yet further, while presenting opportunities for stage hunters, breakaway specialists and sprinters, too.
This proved to be the case on stage ten, with Pello Bilbao winning in style from a breakaway. Along with the joy of winning another Grand Tour stage the Basque Bahrain - Victorious rider also made great strides in the GC race, moving up six places to now sit fifth in the overall standings. The rest of the GC men finished together, some 2-53 down on Bilbao and the group of four riders he beat out in the sprint. This means that Jonas Vingegaard heads into stage 11 with his slender 17-second lead over Tadej Pogačar still intact.
