  • Glasgow is hosting a slimmed-down version of the Commonwealth Games after the Australian state of Victoria withdrew due to the cost of hosting.
  • Athletes from 74 nations and territories will compete in a 10-sport programme, which includes six Para sports.
  • Key sports featured are athletics, gymnastics, cycling, and swimming, taking place across four venues in Glasgow .
  • Scotstoun Stadium will stage the athletics, featuring new mile world record holder Josh Kerr.
  • The Games will be shown live on TNT Sports and HBO Max , rather than on the BBC or terrestrial television.
