Following the 2024 spring Classics openers at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, both the WorldTour and Women's WorldTour continue on Saturday, March 2 with Strade Bianche and Strade Bianche Women.
The pair of races held on the white gravel roads of Tuscany may not have the age and history of the Monument Classics but they have quickly risen to become among the most prestigious prizes of the spring.
This year's races fall will, as ever, start and end in the Tuscan hilltop town of Siena, with the men's race adding 31km to the route to make it even tougher.
Top stars from the peloton including defending champions Demi Vollering (SD Worx-ProTime) and Tom Pidcock (Ineos Grenadiers) are down to compete. Also in the running are Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates), Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon-SRAM), Sepp Kuss (Visma-Lease A Bike), and Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx-ProTime).
