Manchester City can take a step towards the Champions League final tonight when they visit Real Madrid in the semi-final first leg.
City blew Bayern Munich away in the first leg of their quarter-final and they will be hoping to do the same at the Bernabeu. However, the Spanish capital does not hold happy memories for Pep Guardiola's men.
An extra-time defeat saw the Blues crash out of the competition at the last-four stage in 2022 and they will be hoping to avoid a repeat this year. In his pre-match press conference, Guardiola was adamant City should not be fueled by revenge despite Rodri claiming moments earlier he was searching for it.

Guardiola will hope to send Carlo Ancelotti's team packing. As for Real, they will be hoping to add City's name to the list of Premier League teams they have knocked out this year.
