Rangers take on Celtic in a massive Old Firm derby this afternoon.

The Gers and the Hoops lock horns once more as the Scottish Premiership title race heats up.

Today’s hosts come into this clash in second place behind league leaders Hearts, seven points off the pace.

Martin O’Neill’s Celtic are two points further back in third, having slipped to a 2-1 home defeat by Hibernian last time out.

This match follows their Europa League defeat by Stuttgart, with the Bundesliga side dumping them out at the play-off stage with a 4-2 aggregate victory.

That was despite Celtic winning 1-0 in Germany in the second leg, with Luke McCowan netting inside the opening minute, but a 4-1 thrashing at Celtic Park in the first leg was enough to send the Scots tumbling out.

Rangers are also looking to get back to winning ways after they stumbled to a 2-2 draw with 10-man Livingston last time out, with Emmanuel Fernandez and Mikey Moore, the Tottenham loanee, striking in the last ten minutes to salvage a point.
