Rafael Nadal bids farewell to professional tennis this week, with the Davis Cup Finals the final event of his remarkable career.
The 22-time Grand Slam champion, who is a 14-time winner of the French Open, bows out on home soil in Malaga, as he looks to play his part in Spain winning the Davis Cup in what would be the perfect final chapter for Nadal.

Spain take on the Netherlands in the quarter-finals this afternoon, with the winner facing either Germany or Canada in the last-four on Sunday.
Carlos Alcaraz will play a key role for the Spanish side and it remains to be seen whether Nadal will play the second singles match, or potentially line up in the doubles if required.
The 38-year-old featured in last month’s Six Kings Slam exhibition in Saudi Arabia, but that was his first appearance since the Olympics, as he continues to battle injury problems.
